Training course for “Technology used for gathering, transporting, and processing gas-condensate fluids from offshore reservoirs, which include subsea assets”

To Whom It Concerns,

We are pleased to announce that we are organizing a remote training course for “Technology used for gathering, transporting, and processing gas-condensate fluids from offshore reservoirs, which include subsea assets”, detail is as following:

Objective:

The purpose is to develop and execute a training course that will summarize the current technology used for gathering, transporting, and processing gas-condensate fluids from offshore reservoirs, which include subsea assets. To meet this objective, concepts around the physics of multiphase flow, thermodynamics of hydrocarbon fluids, and the process equipment required to safely handle these fluids will be presented. Methodologies for numerical simulation and model development will be summarized and demonstrated.

Agenda:

  1. An overview of front-end processing (separation, pumping, compression) of gas-condensate fluids originating from subsea reservoirs.
  2. An overview of gas-condensate gathering and transport systems (wells, tiebacks, flowlines, pipelines, risers, export lines) and operations in a multiphase flowing condition (gas, condensate, water and solids flowing in common pipes).
  3. Flow assurance risks and operational issues of gas-condensate production (hydrates, liquid surge handling, pigging, turndown, ramp-up, shut-in, restart, etc.)

Lecturer:

  • Mr. Trent Brown, Ph.D., Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining, Colorado School of Mines
  • Mr. Nicolas Jauseau, Ph.D., Chemical Engineering, Ohio University
  • Mr. Michael Zaldivar, Ph.D., Chemical Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan
  • Mr. Stephanos Zunez, B.Sc., Chemical Engineering, University of Arizona, Tempe, Arizona

Schedule:

Instruction will be conducted as per Client’s request, and will span three (3) consecutive days. Prior to instruction, custom materials will be developed over a period of approximately two (2) weeks.

If you would like to participate in this training course, please confirm your attendance by registering to email ([email protected]) or by mobile/cell (0904592166 – Ms. Julies).
